when i open the attached im using date as yyyymmdd and i use the ireland option so that it sets currency as euro and knows to accept the comma as the decimal point.

but when it creates a ofx from this file it does not seem to contain any information, but it does see the information when im on step 2.

can ignore,

the csv file only had one line of transaction, once there was a statement with multiple transactions it worked fine

Looks like the date format is not being recognized. Your csv has date as 20180405. I opened the CSV in Excel and change the date to 2018/04/05 and it worked.
