I downloaded the csv file from my credit card provider and converted the csv file to qif and selected the credit card statement option offered. I regret doing so.

This had the effect of inverting the transactions so that my debits became credits. This was not the effect I was expecting, and I didn't realise the effect until after importing the qif file into the other application.

Perhaps a "Preview" function for the converter would help avoid this in future, so that the user knows they've selected the appropriate option for their file?
